Bonnie Brae Apartment Homes
Opened in November 2010 in the Westlake district, the 53-unit building, known as the Bonnie Brae Apartments, consists of one, two, three, and four-bedroom floor plans. The property was funded using Transit Oriented Development Funds (“TOD”) and was the first building completed in the State of California using TOD funding. The Red Line McArthur Park stop is located within a quarter mile; all tenants receive a transit pass free of charge. Designed by PSL Architects in the Spanish style, the 6-story structure adds an element of sophistication and elegance to the surrounding area. Bonnie Brae features ample open space consisting of a second-floor courtyard and a 1,000 square foot community terrace with views of downtown Los Angeles. The building also provides a fully furnished Community Room and Computer Learning Center.
